Drawing on many years of experience
as a manufacturer of hoisting equipment and screw spindle lifting systems,
Hetek GmbH produces vertical outdoor and
indoor lifts for people in wheelchairs or with walking disabilities.
When it comes to lifting heights of up to 7 m, Hetek lifts for handicapped people
provide an alternative to lifting platforms, stair lifts and
tower hoists. Our handicapped people lifts are also available in a high-grade
steel design.

Lift BLE: How high? You decide!
Space-saving, versatile design
This lift, suitable for outdoor or indoor use and with or
without a lift shaft, is suitable for heights of up to three
metres. In most cases, this means that an upper floor can
easily be reached. Handicapped people gain much-needed mobility
and their quality of life is enhanced – at reasonable
cost, too! Using platform components from the successful BLM
lift program makes the BLE vertical lift a moderately priced
alternative to other vertical lifts. Another advantage –
assembly is easier than if a lift shaft is needed. Access
is either via a fixed ramp, or at ground level if a recess
only six centimetres deep is provided. The drive mechanism
and cage guides are integrated into a single wall column,
and the lift can have doors on both sides or be installed
in a corner. Bonus features
at a glance: • Load capacity up to 300 kg,
height up to 3 m at a speed of 100 mm/s
• No shaft needed
• Vehicles can pass under the platform if
sufficient elevating height is available (e.g. to reach a
garage)
• Access for wheelchairs can be from front,
left or right, with through doors or corner installation
• Durable materials and high-quality corrosion proofing
(stainless steel, hot galvanising)
• Low space requirement, easy assembly
• Single-column mounting is ideal for subsequent installation and unobtrusive in appearance
• Easy to relocate, versatile in use
Lift BLM: Also available with patented stair bridge
Hetek - the vertical lift specialist
For many years now, Hetek has developed, planned and manufactured
Hetek spindle-action and hydraulic lift systems
for greater convenience and mobility in the home and in public
places. Its patented vertical
lifts are available in stainless steel
for both indoor and outdoor use. One of Hetek’s main
corporate objectives is to contribute to the equal status
of handicapped people
as required by law. One third of the company’s products
are installed in public areas, rising as high as 80 percent
for the BHLS hydraulic
systems. For private houses and flats,
these lifts
are not only of great benefit in the daily lives of those
confined to a wheelchair,
but are often installed simply because of the extra convenience
that results. Thanks to the manufacturer’s constant
search for innovation and the high quality of the systems,
these lifts
fulfil a variety of requirements. They are individually planned
and expertly installed to suit every structural situation,
with guaranteed long-term reliability, safety and user-friendliness.
Lift BLM: To suit every building
Compact and adaptable
Using the BLM lift, those with walking handicaps or obliged
to use a wheelchair can negotiate height differences of up
to 100 centimetres unaided. The only structural preconditions
for installation are a flat surface and a 230 V AC domestic
power socket. This compact, reliable aid restores mobility
and independence to the user and is ideal for subsequent installation
either outdoors or indoors. Level access is possible if a
recess only seven centimetres deep can be provided for the
base. Failing this, an integral stainless steel ramp can be
provided for easy access from the left, right or front. The
BLM lift can be adapted to suit any building and can even
cost less than the equivalent ramp. Furthermore, it moves
house when you do! High-quality materials (stainless steel)
and excellent corrosion proofing (hot galvanising) ensure
strength and long life. If the stairs cannot be reached from
the side, the BLM can even be located directly in front of
them. The bridge then closes automatically when the upper
position is reached, so that the user can simply cross the
gap to the upper floor. When the lift moves down to the lower
position, the bridge panels are raised again.
Bonus features at a glance:
• Quiet, low-maintenance drive for height differences
of up to 1 metre,
• lift speeds of > 17 to 20 mm/s and a load capacity of 225
kg
• Easier operation, with a joystick lever instead of push-buttons;
safety standard certified by the
• German TÜV Technical
Inspection Authority
• Through-access or corner
layouts available
• Available with folding bridge
and self-closing upper door, or door attached to lift
• Safety glass or stainless steel door framing for an
attractive appearance
• Minimum space requirement, rapid installation
• Ideal for retrofitting to existing buildings
Lift BLS: From 1 to 10 metres between access points
Reliable and adaptable
The space-saving BLS can also be installed either indoors
or outdoors and is very moderately prices compared with conventional
lifts. It permits barrier-free access to multi-storey buildings.
The maximum lift height is 10 metres. Users of this lift enjoy
the mobility that allows them to share in family life on several
floors of the building. Robust technical design, modern electronics
and high-quality materials guarantee many years of reliable
operation, safety and convenience for handicapped users. The
lift is adapted individually to suit the situation in or against
the building and the required functions, then installed quickly
and expertly. There are versions for wall mounting with or
without a shaft, or in various patterns of free-standing shaft.
The panelling can be in safety glass, sheet metal or plastic.
This is a vertical lift that conforms with the highest safety
standards, is easy and convenient for handicapped people to
operate and will give reliable service in all seasons of the
year.
Bonus features at a glance:
• Load capacity up to 300 / 500
kg, lift height up to 10 m at a lift speed of 150 mm/s
• Simple control, suitable for handicapped features,
design certified by
• German TÜV technical inspection authority
• Assess points one above the other, at opposite sides
or at a right angle; heat-insulating doors optional
• Low platform weight, variable platform size
• Standard dimensions: 150 x 150 cm base area
• Safety glass, colour-coated sheet metal or stainless steel panelling
• Polyacrylic or safety glass roof
• Standard colour RAL 9002 grey; other colours to special order

elements
• Modern design
• Special versions of controls and lighting can be supplied
• Visual variety can be achieved with aluminium or painted glass retaining strips
• Plastic elements in white or same colour of lift, painted on one or both sides
Lift BLHS: The column that lifts heavy loads
Low access height even without pit
Column-type lifts are noted for design flexibility and their
high load capacities: up to three tons. Even with the large-area
platforms needed for beds or flat stretchers, an uninterrupted
tiled surface can be provided. This makes the hydraulic lift,
which incidentally needs no pit underneath it, easier to integrate
into the surrounding area. In this case the low above-surface
height of only 80 mm is bridged by a wedge-shaped aluminium
ramp. Alternatively, if a recess 10 cm deep can be provided,
this is sufficient for floor-level access to the BLHS platform.
The drive unit for the lifting ram can be installed at a distance
of up to ten metres. It can be concealed and minimises the
noise burden. Occupants of the lift can be released in a very
short time in the event of a power failure, by means of a
reliable, easily operated emergency lowering control.
Bonus features at a glance:
• Load capacity up to 3000 kg, lift heights from 180
cm to approx. 6 m
• No restrictions on floor tiling
• Various platform designs and sizes available
• No pit needed; access height difference of up to 8 cm can be bridged with ramp
• Drive and control system in separate switchgear cabinet
• Various door widths with or without drive modules
• Simple emergency lowering control
• Free choice of left or right door hinges according to DIN standard
• Insulated doors available for use at perimeter of
